I'm pretty sure desert sunrise is the name of some bad cocktail, but it's also something I had the opportunity to witness while I was at WPPI last week. Sorry I've been mia for awhile, I've been recovering. While it was great to catch up with friends from afar, see a few inspiring speakers, escape the cold weather for a few days, and live the vegas life.. (sorta, let's be real, I don't even come close to living the vegas life!), my body quickly reminded me that this is not the way we roll and I spent the entire weekend in bed with a nasty cold. I'm finally feeling better and thought I'd share a few frames from the desert. There are 3, as few as that may be, it's 3 more than I took last year so I'm making progress.
These shots were taken around 6am, it was early and incredibly cold but SO worth it.
